Présentation

Hello!

I'm starting this blog with the same enthusiasm as my 13 year-old self starting a plastic-duck skyblog!
In this space, I will talk about my projects, my home studio and the techniques I use: clearly, all sorts of answers to questions nobody asked!
Mon Origin Story or why ceramic ?
I had my first contact with clay when I was 16 years old. I made cups using coils that my parents still preciously keep even though nobody ever drank from them: even parental love couldn’t compensate for their total lack of practicality! But I fell in love, big time.
Since then, I have perfected my technique by taking college classes and doing internships. To prove that education is everything, here is photographic evidence of my skill evolution!

After a year and a half squatting in my brother's garage with my wheel, my kiln and my glaze bucket, I set up my workshop in French Normandy (but still in my garage: once a garage-ceramist, always a garage-ceramist ? Hopefully not!).
In 2022, when you're young, living in the countryside and finishing a master's degree while starting your own business, panic is never far away! That's why I want to use this page to share my experience, talk about ceramic techniques, my post-Covid artisan moods and my different projects.
If you've read this far, congratulations! See you soon for new adventures!
Emma
