Hiya

My name is Emma, I make decorative and utilitarian pieces in my home studio in French Normandy. I handbuild, cast and throw! I love poodles, laughing, feminist podcasts, my garden and photo comics - all things that clearly influence my work and my aesthetics !

Tell me more ?

After graduating high school in Italy and a four-year multi-disciplinary degree in the United States, I returned to France to obtain a certification in ceramics. After various internships in Athens, Paris and Mount Desert Island (USA), I knew I wanted to open my own studio.

Before the pandemic, I was selling my work at the Bastille market in the middle of Paris. After moving to the French countryside, surrounded by green and quiet, I was finally able to send my pieces far away!

In my work, I make room for my environmental and feminist commitments. I strive to reduce the carbon impact of my workshop by recycling, filtering and bargaining. Through my pieces, I work on the representation of bodies and their diversity, questioning  beauty and gender norms. And when I run out of ideas, I turn to my muse: my eleven-year-old poodle!
